Mason Architects, Inc. is a full-spectrum architectural design and research firm located in Honolulu. Our staff of twenty-two includes six architectural historians. Our goal is to preserve the architectural heritage of our region and create new buildings that respect the client, the environment, and the cultural context. Our portfolio includes most of the preservation planning work in the Pacific, encompassing master plans, existing condition analyses, design guideline reports, historic structure surveys and inventories, cultural resource management plans, National Register nominations, and Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) and Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) documentation. The firm combines this expertise with the design of new buildings for commercial, office, educational, and residential use.
